We have been away for a while. Arriving at Bwlch Tre Banau is always such a pleasure. The first wave of daffodils are out at the top of the drive - Wordsworth would have been impressed, we have a swathe of daffodils that stretches from the top to the bottom of the main entranceway.

Guests staying in Wheatsheaf Cottage have a delightful little dog named Frank that Spot and Stripe are completely besotted with. http://www.walesholidaycottages.com/

We have been very busy finishing our new property down on Devon's beautiful coast. It is direct seafront on a headland and has a huge south facing garden overlooking the water. Steps lead down to the waters edge and it has a lookout! Amazing, it is going to be so popular with our guests. Check it out at http://www.torquay.uk.com/
Although it is brand new, the design and atmosphere of The West Wing Cottage is reminiscent of the languid atmosphere of the gorgeously decadent 1920s. Oak trim from the owner's private estate in Carmarthenshire, quarter sawn American oak wide plant flooring in the living area, blonde maplewood flooring specially imported from Canada in the bedrooms together with bathrooms courtesy of Sanitan, purveyors of some of the finest fixtures available in the world today, combine to make this a property a seafront delight.
Combined with the serenely peaceful position, gardens and lawns extending out towards the sea, the attention to detail in West Wing Cottage will make you want to return again and again. Long lazy summer days gazing out over the water, croquet on the lawn, picnics on th waters edge and fishing off the rocks. Sit out on the lookout at sunset with a glass of wine and watch the sky and the sea light up with spectacular colours..

Another scattering of snow this morning, followed by plenty of sunshine. The sky was so blue and clear it reminded us of Switzerland up on top of the banc this afternoon. Stripe and Spot played in the snow as we sat on the bench at the top of the scenic overlook enjoying the panoramic views out towards the snow covered Brecon Beacons that stretch the length of the horizon to the south. http://www.walesholidaycottages.com/
